Navitas is seeking to employ and train a working rate case and compliance accountant/analyst for a growing position.  An applicant could have a background in either law, accounting, economics, regulatory policy, and/or utility operations. Responsibilities will include:


• Preparing, filing, and pursuing rate cases from inception to completion in various jurisdictions.


• Preparing and filing all year-end compliance reporting to various agencies.


• Prepare and/or file monthly tracking and compliance reporting.


• Assist with inter-company allocation monthly billing and annual review.


• Prepare and update forecasting and budgeting.


• Assist with preparation of financial statements in accordance with utility standards.


• Assist with annual audit and tax filings.


• Other duties, tasks, and assistance as required

This position is currently located at our corporate offices in Costa Mesa, California.  After a training period of two-years, relocation to another area of the country, in accordance with your preference may be possible.  Some minimal travel required will be required associated with rate case hearings as they arise.
